Description

A temporary job at a small nursery school was supposed to last just two weeks. With an upcoming recital to prepare for, I found myself working under Saya-sensei, a woman with long black hair, sleepy-looking eyes, and an intensely shy manner. Everyone at the school depended on her, yet asking for help was something she could barely bring herself to do. Over fourteen days, our time together would reveal a side of her I never expected. The change began on day eight. During lunch break, with the room quiet for nap time, Saya-sensei tried to “return the favor”—only for her gesture to take an unexpected turn. On day nine, I helped ease the stiffness in her lower back. By day ten, she was the one telling me, “Today… it’s my turn.” What had started as a short assignment was becoming a much more personal connection. By the night of day thirteen, Saya-sensei was wearing cosplay and saying things that seemed almost impossible to reconcile with the painfully timid woman I had first met. Hitomishiri Hoikushi-chan To, Rinji Shokuin No Ore Ga Cosplay Nakadashi Suru Made No 14-kakan follows this two-week progression, centering on the contrast between a dependable nursery school teacher’s overwhelming shyness and the growing boldness she shows in our time together.
