Description

In His Bet, Her Loss, Karl’s disbelief turns a conversation over drinks into a dangerously personal wager. While drinking with Derrick—his teammate and rival—he complains about the porn he watched earlier that day. The premise of a girlfriend cheating within just five days strikes him as absurd: nothing more than porn logic, far removed from real life. Karl is so certain the scenario is ridiculous that he’s willing to bet on it. But Derrick’s response puts that confidence to the test: why not try it with Karl’s own girlfriend? What began as an argument about an unbelievable fantasy suddenly carries stakes Karl wasn’t prepared to face. Built around a provocative challenge, His Bet, Her Loss brings rivalry and bravado into uncomfortable conflict with trust. Karl is ready to dismiss what he’s seen on-screen—but backing up his words means making the wager personal.
