Description

At a boarding school cut off from the outside world, immortal girls live through an endless cycle of growing up and growing young again. They reach adulthood, regress to infancy over an equal span of time, and begin the process anew. There is only one way to graduate: an observer outside the school must recognize a girl as a prodigy. The moment that judgment is made, her graduation becomes official—and she disappears from the school. In Fuyukuru. – Winter Winds, Adieu? -, even murder is not entirely out of the ordinary. With at least one bloodthirsty killer among the school’s inhabitants, death need not mean the end. But there is one absolute taboo: severing someone’s head and hiding it prevents their revival, turning an otherwise temporary death into a potentially permanent one. That forbidden line is crossed when Shihon-chan’s headless body is discovered in the meditation room. Unless her missing head is found within two days, she will die for good. A place where life endlessly renews itself is suddenly confronted with an irreversible loss, and a single murder case threatens to shatter the immortal girls’ peaceful school days.
