Description

Catherine moved to the big city hoping to leave an abusive ex-boyfriend and a dead-end job behind. Sharing an apartment with her best friend Lisa seemed like a chance for a fresh start, far from the small town where she had felt trapped. But a few months later, the promise of a better life still feels out of reach. Now employed by a catering company, Catherine is struggling to pay rent and sees little opportunity to improve her circumstances. Then, on the morning of her day off, a call from her boss interrupts her routine with an unexpected offer: work that evening at an elegant event inside Elysium Heights, one of the city’s most luxurious buildings. What begins as an extra night of work becomes a turning point she could never have anticipated. Set against the contrast between Catherine’s financial struggles and the luxury of Elysium Heights, the story follows a young woman whose life will be changed forever by the outcome of a single evening.
