In Dress Quest, Eris, commander of the knights of Baron, sets out alone to recover seven dresses—the only things that remain effective against the monsters spreading across the continent. Her mission takes her from one demanding community to the next, where assistance always comes at a price. Some towns are less interested in her quest than in what they can extract from a knight traveling without support. Built in RPG Maker VX Ace, this turn-based RPG spans a continent of walled towns and distinctive destinations. Eris’s journey includes the royal capital of Baron, the martial-arts town of Muscleroom and its coliseum, the caves of Regenhoehle, the eastern island of Zipang and its water god, the holy city of Holy Rune, and the thieves’ town of Hoodlum. Each location forms part of her search for the seven dresses, with local demands standing between her and the help she needs. Every dress is a complete equipment set with its own stats, portrait, and field sprite. Eris’s appearance also affects dialogue: people respond differently depending on what she wears, including when she wears nothing at all. The game tracks nudity through a dedicated shame counter and associated events, making her clothing relevant both to combat and to encounters outside it. The adult content is heavily focused on monsters and largely involves non-consensual situations, with trolls, goblins, tentacles, coliseum encounters, and scenes in which Eris herself becomes the price of information. A recollection gallery accessible from the title screen contains 47 scenes, which unlock as players encounter them during the adventure.
