Description

Dick Dickson calls himself a “victim of circumstances,” and honestly, his name alone makes the case for him. His life backs it up, too. When his parents’ divorce forces him to relocate, what looks like a fresh start quickly turns out to be the real reason his family fell apart: his mother, Rose, had already fallen for someone else. Now Dick has to adapt to a new reality, living under the same roof as his mother’s partner, Owen, and Owen’s daughter, Mia. Mia is attractive, rebellious, and comes with a serious attitude problem, and she clashes head-on with Dick, a humble, attentive, well-meaning, respectful, and thoroughly proper modern gentleman. Their personalities couldn’t be more mismatched, and the friction between them sparks an all-out war in which neither side has the slightest chance of winning.
