Description

Chronicles Of Muscular City is an exclusively gay, text-based game set in a fictional coastal city with a thriving LGBT+ community. Gay characters are around every corner, making Muscular City the backdrop for both a fresh start and a narrative told through multiple perspectives. Two distinct modes offer different ways to experience life in the city. In New Guy Mode, you play a single man who has just arrived in Muscular City, ready to build a new life from scratch and pursue stardom. Story Mode takes a broader approach: rather than following one protagonist, it shifts between characters across the city according to whose perspective matters as the narrative unfolds. Unlike the single-lead structure common in HTML text-based games, this format lets events and information emerge through the people involved, without requiring one character to wander into every situation—even those that have nothing to do with him. Choices give you room to respond to situations in a way that reflects your own instincts. The emphasis is on personal expression rather than punishing decisions or exhausting consequences that could derail your experience halfway through and force a restart. Whether you prefer guiding a newcomer or exploring the city through its different characters, Chronicles Of Muscular City keeps decision-making approachable.
