Description

Breeding City presents a bleak vision of the 22nd century, where severe population aging, plunging birth rates, and the depletion of the world’s economic reserves have transformed society. Totalitarian and authoritarian governments rule every country, leaving young people to face a future defined by coercion rather than choice. For a generation that has embraced “lying flat”—withdrawing from society’s relentless demands—remaining on the sidelines is no longer an option. Having children has become compulsory, and those who refuse face violent mental and physical re-education designed to crush resistance. Against this dystopian backdrop, Breeding City explores a world where demographic and economic collapse have become the justification for absolute control. The pressure to reproduce is not merely a social expectation: it is a state-enforced demand backed by brutal punishment.
