Description

In Attempted Redemption, Amanda is a mysterious woman caught between an obscure past and a future with no clear direction. Amid that uncertainty, one obligation remains absolute: she must protect a man named Ron, whatever the cost. With so little else to hold on to, that duty stands at the center of her unsettled life. Amanda’s fragile mental state leaves her identity open to change. Like a blank slate, she has the potential to become a compassionate, sensitive woman—or someone hardened by life and untouched by remorse. Who she will become is far from certain, and the distance between those possibilities defines her struggle to find herself. The city may offer Amanda more than a place to fulfill her obligation. It could be where she discovers who she is, forms new friendships, and perhaps even finds love. For a woman whose past remains a mystery, these possibilities hold the promise of a different future—and what may be her final chance at redemption.
