Description

Athena’s Revenge brings the Gorgon Trilogy to its conclusion as the third and final visual novel, following Tragedy of Medusa and Euryale’s Gambit. Set shortly after the events of Euryale’s Gambit, it follows Stheno and Euryale as they join forces with Ashmedai on a journey into Hell. With the aid of the Succubus Queen Igret Bat Mahlat, they travel through a portal and encounter a mysterious demon who calls himself Aden—and agrees to help them. Together, the small band fights through countless hordes of demons, drawing ever closer to the Demonic Citadel. Within its walls, the Demon Lords hold Athena prisoner. Their advance through Hell sets the stage for the final chapter of a story shaped by betrayal, resentment, and the bonds between sisters. Maligned, exploited, betrayed, and transformed into monsters, the Gorgon sisters carry the weight of a cruel past. For Stheno, that burden has meant millennia of hatred whose source she has only now come to understand. Turning her anger toward those who wronged her, she strives to save Medusa, the sister she once failed to protect. But hatred alone will not be enough: to face what lies ahead, Stheno must break from her solitary ways, learn to rely on others, and become more than she has been.
