Description

After an unsuccessful job hunt, the protagonist of As A NEET, All I Can Do Is Watch retreats into a life without work or direction. His days consist of little more than eating and sleeping, an uneventful routine that leaves him stuck in place while life around him continues to move. Then a glance at his phone reveals that “that guy” has begun posting on social media. Meanwhile, his mother is gradually becoming more distant, adding a growing sense of unease to his otherwise idle existence. Set against this stagnant daily life, As A NEET, All I Can Do Is Watch introduces a story of isolation and widening emotional distance. For a protagonist who has already withdrawn from the working world, even these quiet changes begin to unsettle the familiar.
