Description

Aphrodite’s Gobboree is an exceptionally difficult, deliberately old-school roguelike set in the world of The Goblin’s Pet. You play a human woman captured alongside her sister and taken to the dreaded Griznak Gobboree, where goblin captors enslave women for breeding. Rather than casting you as a powerful warrior, the game puts you in a vulnerable position: behaving as your captors expect is essential to avoiding unwanted goblin attention. Presented in the ASCII tradition of ADOM, Rogue, and Dwarf Fortress, Aphrodite’s Gobboree combines its harsh premise with an intricate collection of simulation systems. Its current features cover sexual encounters and pregnancy, dancing, waitressing, horse care, lockpicking, and skitterbones, among other activities. Expect an unforgiving experience built around navigating captivity and deciphering deliberately obtuse, old-school mechanics—not a conventional heroic adventure.
