A Neon Fallacy blends an adult urban life simulator with a visual novel in Fairview, a rain-drenched city where money, desire, loyalty, and survival constantly overlap. You play as Dex, a young man working to rebuild his life amid complicated relationships and dangerous opportunities. Finding his footing means navigating the city’s shifting social and criminal landscape—and living with the consequences of the decisions you make along the way. Explore Fairview, get to know its residents, and take on jobs while balancing your time, money, and energy. Relationship progression sits alongside missions, inventory management, and repeatable work, bringing everyday responsibilities into Dex’s efforts to establish a place for himself. The current alpha features the opening storyline, apartment and housemate content, the DexPhone, city exploration, and the foundations of several business and economy systems. A Neon Fallacy remains in active development, with future updates planned to expand its story, relationships, locations, adult content, and businesses.
