Description

In Love Dolls, you play as a 19-year-old male student who heads to Japan on an exchange program with his best friend, Jackson. Joining them are Julie, the girl you have a crush on, and her closest friend, Alice. Studying abroad brings you closer to Julie, but you still haven’t found the courage to tell her how you feel. Will you finally be able to confess your love? For Julie and Alice, however, the trip is about more than academics. They also intend to investigate the disappearance of Julie’s older sister, Vanessa, who lost contact with Julie just three months into her own exchange program. Three years have passed since Julie last heard from her beloved sister, and the search for answers reveals that Japan may not be quite what it seems. Meanwhile, a company called Love Dolls Co. has attracted remarkable popularity in the mere three years since it went public. Its answer to Japan’s crippling loneliness is a line of astonishingly lifelike sex androids, designed to obey their owners’ every command. But what are these dolls actually made of, and why do they look so convincingly real? Love Dolls is a dark-themed visual novel that combines an unspoken romance and a missing-person mystery with unsettling questions surrounding its namesake company. Its extreme adult content spans a wide range of kinks and fetishes, from relatively vanilla interests to darker themes rarely explored.
