In Neon Zombie Nights, an incident near a women’s correctional facility in City X is classified as the impact of an unidentified object. Shortly afterward, an unknown biological lifeform is discovered inside the secured zone. The entity makes contact with an inmate, using her body to adapt to an environment unlike its place of origin. As it adjusts, it reveals the ability to reproduce and spread through hosts. The first changes appear within the facility, but the process soon escapes containment and begins sweeping through the city’s population. The phenomenon becomes known as Euphoria-X. Authorities respond by declaring a state of emergency, sealing off major metropolitan areas and redesignating them as exclusion zones. City X becomes the largest of these isolated territories—an open-air laboratory in all but name. To the public, the crisis is presented as a global biological threat demanding an urgent solution. The true nature of Euphoria-X, however, remains classified. Behind that official account, a more troubling pattern takes shape. Control tightens, exclusion boundaries expand, and the response looks less and less like an attempt to halt the spread. Weapons, control, and a new form of evolution loom over a crisis that has pushed humanity beyond limits it once dared not approach.
