Description

Blood Ties draws you into a secret society where immortal dynasties wield influence, desire doubles as leverage, and every relationship carries a price. You begin as a human heir to a name steeped in fear, authority, and history—a legacy everyone recognizes and everyone hopes to exploit. Navigating the vampire elite means choosing whom to trust, whom to seduce, and how much of yourself to risk. Forbidden romance, political maneuvering, and supernatural desire intertwine as your decisions shape your relationships and status. Whether you claim power or become a pawn in another dynasty’s ambitions is up to you. Also known as BloodTies: A Vampire Legacy, this Ren’Py visual novel is the first installment in a planned multi-part series centered on political intrigue, erotic tension, and supernatural power dynamics. Its opening introduces the setting, cast, and legacy systems, with deep branching and multiple romance and corruption paths promised as the story develops. Chapter 2 follows a tragedy that may also present an opportunity, placing you in a new role within a society that suddenly expects you to lead. It brings 10 additional characters, including six love interests, alongside the first signs of an unfamiliar strength. Concealed agendas and uncertain loyalties begin to surface as the narrative grows darker, more dangerous, and more intimate. Featuring 3DCG artwork and animation, Blood Ties follows a male protagonist and includes romance, male domination, group sex, slavery themes, teasing, vaginal sex, and twins. The game is uncensored, explores seduction and morally ambiguous uses of power, and is explicitly described by its developer as not an NTR game. Developed by BaconLake, it is available in English for Windows, Linux, and Mac. The initial release launched on April 22, 2025; the listed version is 0.2.10, with a listing update dated January 1, 2026. Installation consists of extracting the files and running the game. Created independently in a Maryland basement, Blood Ties began as a personal project following the developer’s divorce and a broken back. Late-night forum research, Ren’Py tutorials, and knowledge shared by the F95 Zone community helped bring the first release to life. BaconLake credits the encouragement and feedback following Chapter 1 with confirming a commitment to the medium and turning a midlife passion project into a potential new career direction.
