Kichiku Megane (鬼畜眼鏡) follows Katsuya, an inept office worker whose job is hanging by a thread. His prospects take an unexpected turn when a mysterious man appears and hands him a pair of glasses, promising that wearing them will change his life completely. The promise proves true: with the glasses on, Katsuya becomes a capable, effective employee. What he does not realize is that this newfound competence comes with a darker transformation—the glasses also make him wild and violent. Developed by Spray and originally released on July 20, 2007, this Japanese visual novel combines a male-led story with gay romance and explicit sexual content, including anal sex, presented with mosaic censorship. Its 2D CG artwork and Japanese voice acting accompany a long experience listed at approximately 30 hours. The Windows release described here is version 1.02, featuring English machine-translated text alongside the Japanese voices. The English translation is complete but remains a beta, having been produced primarily with Google Translate. It is intended to be understandable rather than polished, and numerous translation issues remain. The translator successfully compiled the scripts after investigating RLDev’s compilation and decompilation problems, which ultimately did not prevent text compilation. However, combining everything into a single .TXT file still causes the game’s options menu to malfunction. Players are invited to report problems, and Japanese-speaking volunteers are welcome to help translate the raw scripts.
