Description

The Nighrest follows a young male doctor who travels to an island to train under an experienced physician, only to discover that she has disappeared. A month after her disappearance, he takes her place as the island’s only doctor. His new responsibilities unfold against a disturbing supernatural mystery: a demon known as The Nighrest has returned to curse the island and seek revenge. Together with his friends, the protagonist must investigate the strange events surrounding them and uncover who she is, what she wants, and what drives her vengeance. Developed by ChouderTales, this 3DCG game blends horror, paranormal intrigue, possession, and romance with a male protagonist and a cast that includes mature women. Character interactions and branching story paths accompany the central mystery, while relationships emphasize emotional connection through dating, teasing, kissing, cuddling, deeper conversations, and dedicated love routes. The developer’s focus is on character-driven storytelling and naturally developing intimacy; whether nudity or explicit sexual scenes will be included remains undecided, and the narrative may continue without them. The Nighrest is available in English for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android. Episode 2, released on January 13, 2026, includes the full second episode, more than 800 new renders, new main characters with significant roles in the story, expanded interactions, and additional branching paths. It also brings revised Episode 1 writing, new ambient audio and sound effects, interface improvements, and bug fixes. The game is listed as uncensored, and continued Android support depends on the version remaining stable without requiring excessive fixes. Installation consists of extracting the files and running the game. An optional incest patch is also listed; to apply it, place the downloaded patch.rpy file in the game folder. The catalog additionally lists an Android incest version and an Italian translation, with the patch and translation identified as unofficial rather than developer releases.
