Description

Ephemeral Gate follows an aspiring hero into a crisis that threatens the kingdom of Alanse from both within and beyond its borders. A sinister plot has left the king poisoned and near death, forcing a princess out of her depth to call on an unlikely band of heroes. With the kingdom’s future at stake, Haru must answer that call and undertake a journey far greater than his humble beginnings suggest. Haru’s path stretches from slaying rats in a basement to the monumental task of killing a god. Along the way, he encounters a variety of companions who may help him save Alanse—or fall into depravity. The contrast between small beginnings and extraordinary stakes shapes an adventure in which the kingdom’s struggle for survival unfolds alongside the uncertain fates of those who join him. Developed by Wr1ckad, whose work is available on Patreon, Ephemeral Gate is an uncensored, English-language game for Windows. The listed release is version 0.351, dated June 15, 2025.
