Description

Castle Darkstone takes place in a grim alternate 18th century, where women hold power and men live in slavery. This harsh social order leaves enslaved men facing exhausting labor and miserable living conditions, while others are confined to dungeons and forced to serve the highest household. Outwardly submissive, the men offer little visible resistance to the women who command them. A formidable female army reinforces that authority, extending its control to the next generation and raising boys for lives of servitude. For young slaves, the future is shaped by a system designed to keep them subordinate from the very beginning. Against this bleak historical backdrop, Castle Darkstone presents a world defined by entrenched hierarchy and oppression. Female rule governs both daily life and the fate of future generations, leaving those born into bondage to endure a difficult existence beneath an unforgiving ruling class.
