Sovereign Shores puts you on the shores of Aethmoor with nothing—and challenges you to carve a path from penniless castaway to ruler. Developed by Peridot, this medieval-fantasy adventure and life sim combines deep character creation, tactical combat, and a branching rise to power. Version 0.3.1 invites you to shape your identity, build a livelihood, and decide what you’re willing to sacrifice for the throne.

Explore an island of four towns, from fishing docks and farmland to bustling markets and guarded garrisons. Hundreds of residents have their own homes, jobs, and rivalries, creating opportunities to make allies, earn a living, or stir up trouble. Manage hunger, energy, money, and reputation as you work, learn trades, and buy and sell goods. Beyond the settlements, dunes and deep woods offer danger, while a distant castle gives your ambitions a destination.

Survival is only the beginning. Move goods across the island’s road network, navigate famines and feuds, and face threats in tactical battles. Your custom character can pursue an honest life or embrace a corruption-driven climb built on blackmail, faction politics, and ruthless decisions.
