Description

She Doesn’t Pay Rent turns a fresh start into a supernatural roommate problem: your cheap apartment already belongs to a mysterious girl in white who refuses to leave. Developed by Lazy Rat Games, this horror-tinged adventure follows a male protagonist who loses everything overnight and moves to a small Japanese town, only to discover that his new home comes with an unwanted resident.

Getting back on your feet means more than unpacking. Renovate the rundown apartment, work warehouse shifts to cover the bills, and keep in touch with the women in your life through text conversations. Between repairs and work, the question of who—or what—your freeloading roommate really is gives everyday life an unsettling edge.

Blending 2DCG artwork with 3D game elements, She Doesn’t Pay Rent combines a rebuilding-your-life story with relationship progression and monster girl mystery. Its cast includes furry and monster girl characters with voluptuous designs, while increasingly intimate chats and shared pictures add to the relationship-focused side of the experience. A mobile-friendly interface makes it easy to fit conversations and apartment upkeep into shorter play sessions.

Version 0.0.1 introduces an unusual mix of renovation, work, romance, and horror, with a roommate who makes settling in anything but straightforward. Download and play She Doesn’t Pay Rent to uncover the mystery behind the girl in white.
