Told entirely through a phone interface, Ex Files makes every conversation part of the gameplay. Messages arrive in real time, and you decide whether to reply, ignore them, or hit delete. Your responses affect Maria’s trust, Lila’s persistence, and how much control you retain as the situation unfolds. Even avoiding a conversation can carry consequences.

The presentation blends 2D CG and 3D CG artwork, including AI-assisted CG, with animated scenes that complement the relationship drama.
