Description

Hikari: First Interlude turns a voyage between humanity’s last hidden worlds into a tense story of companionship, power, and uncertain loyalties. Developed by Hikari-Comics, version 0.06.08p continues directly after the eight Hikari Comics, bringing you aboard the NMV Aquilla—a commerce ferry traveling between the surviving worlds of the New Galactic Meritocracy. Beyond its hull, the relentless Loci swarms threaten what remains of civilization. Inside, an apparently comfortable refuge conceals dangers of its own.

This narrative-driven visual novel blends dating sim elements and light gamification with animated 3DCG visuals. At the center of its harem storyline are Princess Sasayaki, the enigmatic Tsuki, and Hikari, someone you barely know—or perhaps remember better than you realize. With the ship’s Captain taking an unwelcome interest in your companions, the journey introduces NTR themes and mounting tension beneath the Aquilla’s inviting surface.

The science-fantasy setting stretches far beyond the ship. Four thousand years of decline have left the once-great Geniorcracy of the Manykind in ruins, with thousands of devastated worlds and only a handful of life-sustaining planets remaining. The Angels have fallen into darkness, the mighty Guardia have followed, and humanity rules through a brutal hierarchy based on perceived genetic purity. Mature relationship themes and graphic violence reinforce a setting where safety, freedom, and trust are never guaranteed.

For readers following the comics, Hikari: First Interlude offers a direct continuation of their fallen cosmos through a character-focused visual novel. For newcomers, the Aquilla provides an introduction to a universe where even sanctuary comes with a cost. Download and play Hikari: First Interlude version 0.06.08p.
