Description

Magical Girl Celesphonia follows Amane, a seemingly ordinary woman living in one of Japan’s largest cities. Her everyday surroundings are becoming more dangerous by the day, with a growing number of people disappearing—especially young women. Behind these kidnappings are sinister creatures known as monstrums, a threat Amane soon encounters firsthand. Attacked by monstrums one night on her way home, Amane finds herself on the brink of death when her book suddenly begins to speak. It offers her a life-changing contract: become a magical warrior and take up the fight against the creatures terrorizing the city. Armed with her newfound powers, she must confront the danger that has been hiding beneath her ordinary life. Investigate monstrum appearances throughout the city and fight to put an end to their plans for world domination. Amane’s transformation places her at the center of a struggle that reaches far beyond her own survival, turning the streets she calls home into the setting for her battle against the monstrous threat.
