Description

Arcade 19 is a full rewrite and reimagining of Arcade 18 by Mizperix, born from an appreciation for the original concept and a desire to explore its possibilities further. What began as a personal project with the modest aim of expanding the Alpha route grew into a much broader undertaking: revisiting the entire game rather than simply extending one part of it. The project involves rewriting the game in the new creator’s own prose while expanding and reworking its existing content. A complete replacement of the original artwork is also planned. That visual overhaul remains in development as the creator works toward a pipeline capable of producing consistent results, so replacement art is being held back until it can more reliably reflect the intended direction. Arcade 19 is an unofficial fan project, not an official continuation of Arcade 18, and its creator is not Mizperix. Driven primarily by the wish to make a version they would personally want to play, the creator also welcomes feedback from fans of the original—particularly on which characters, routes, and elements deserve more attention. Interest from players will help determine whether occasional development updates accompany the ongoing rewrite.
