Description

In Missing Piece, a wealthy man reaches old age with a vast fortune but no one to share his life with. Once a reckless playboy, he spent his younger years moving through countless fleeting relationships. Now living alone, he faces the emptiness that his riches and past pleasures have never been able to fill. Behind his privileged life lies a loss that shaped his ability to trust. His parents died under suspicious circumstances, and he has secretly always known who was responsible: a trusted friend of his father who coveted their wealth. Though he inherited immense riches, that inheritance could not mend the emotional void left by their deaths or the deep mistrust born of betrayal. With only a few years left to live, his thoughts turn toward the future of his family. He longs to continue his family line, giving new urgency to a life marked by temporary connections and enduring loneliness. Missing Piece centers on the contrast between having extraordinary wealth and still lacking something profoundly important.
