Condemned World is an in-development mod/remake of Condemned Town Expanded, itself a mod for Condemned Town. This dev blog offers a more direct place to discuss the project’s development and gather feedback, with a focus on the ongoing work to refine its systems, improve its code, and reduce unnecessary bulk. Optimization has already brought the game down to around 3GB through format changes and other adjustments. A thorough cleanup is still ahead, and duplicated images remaining from the first version leave room for further reductions. Alongside that work, the developer is overhauling the internal code to address duplication and build on the game’s existing foundations. Recent development includes a body parts system, an additional gender option for slow transformation mode, and an arousal system. Numerous problematic passages have also been corrected. Choice handling is being tightened up as well: options that require stats the player lacks are no longer displayed, and other cases that allowed supposedly unavailable actions have been addressed.
