Description

The Ascendants is an adult visual novel from Crabby Games, built with the Ren’Py engine. Set in a futuristic dystopia, it combines humor, grit, and sexual themes against the backdrop of a devastating pandemic. With 97% of all males left sterile, the world has descended into chaos, creating the setting for an adventure centered on the mystery of the Ascendants. At the heart of this premise are the “Breeders”: females born with both male and female genitalia. Described as genetically superior, they possess superhuman strength and virility, setting them apart in a society shaken by widespread infertility. This contrast forms the foundation of the game’s dystopian world, where an extraordinary biological development accompanies a global crisis. Released on September 6, 2026, The Ascendants is available in English for Windows, Linux, and Mac. The listed release is version 0.1 and is uncensored. An unofficial Italian translation is also available, though it was not released by the developer. Crabby Games’ other listed title is Goddess of Lust.
