Recourse blends top-down stealth-shooter gameplay with a slice-of-life visual novel, bringing together covert skills and the everyday pressures of starting college. You play as Adam, a 19-year-old whose upbringing has been shaped by a man who taught him everything from locks and guns to patience and a set of rules known as the Tenets. Now Adam is beginning college and sharing a house with people who know nothing about his unusual background. With his caretaker out of town, he has been left with one request: protect everyone in the household until the man returns. That responsibility frames a story in which ordinary student life sits alongside the training Adam has carried with him since childhood.
