Description

Marina and Kojiroh return in Adam: The Double Factor, a murder-mystery visual novel with separate scenarios following its male and female leads. In Kojiroh’s story, a woman introducing herself as the president’s secretary arrives at his office with a request: protect her boss, whose life is in danger. Accepting the job brings Kojiroh face-to-face with President Ando and his daughters, Mika and Miki. But Ando refuses to explain the threat against him, leaving Kojiroh caught in a dangerous situation without knowing what lies behind it. Marina’s scenario follows her return to the Cabinet of Investigation. At Chief Kono’s request, she takes on a case involving a series of murders in Japan. Her investigation leads her to Yuka, the daughter of one of the victims and the sole survivor. As Marina works to protect her, she will also face a decision about whether to help Yuka. With two protagonists, twins, and intertwined themes of protection and investigation, the game places unanswered questions at the center of both stories. Developed by C’s Ware and published by Himeya Soft, Adam: The Double Factor was released in Japan on June 18, 1999, with an English version following in 2003. This final, uncensored PC/Windows version features English text and Japanese voice acting, with an estimated playtime of 10–30 hours.
