Description

Tears Of Higanbana is a dark fantasy visual novel that casts you as “The Inspector,” tasked with tracking down and capturing rogue kunoichi—female ninjas who have become your targets. Once a captive is in your custody, you decide her fate through a stark choice: Execute or Spare. Neither option offers a gentle outcome. Execution leads to graphic violence and gore, while sparing a captive subjects her to psychological destruction and coercive exploitation. Cruelty and the abuse of power define the game’s bleak premise, making the apparent promise of mercy another form of punishment. Featuring Nozomi, Sayuri, Kurohana, and additional characters, Tears Of Higanbana combines its ninja-hunting setup with an adult-oriented visual novel format. Its focus remains on disturbing encounters and the brutal authority placed in the Inspector’s hands.
