Description

The guards lie in a pool of blood, the prison wall has fallen, and the Tainted Son is free. In Tangled Threads, you play as MC, a customizable protagonist whose everyday life seems to be going nowhere. Stuck in a dead-end job and unable to afford college, he struggles to find a sense of direction—until a violent encounter draws him into a world he never knew existed. On his way home after a particularly grueling shift, MC is ambushed by muggers in an alleyway. A near-fatal wound awakens something within him, granting him the strength to fight back before his injuries cause him to lose consciousness. As he slips away, a group of Keepers intervenes, dealing with his attackers and saving his life. Surviving the assault leaves MC caught in the middle of a hidden fantasy world ruled by magic and tangled allegiances. With danger waiting at every turn, he must learn to harness the power inside him and uncover the secrets of this mystical realm. What began as a struggle to get through another working day becomes a fight to stand against an encroaching darkness and prevail.
