In DEVILS DEVEL CONCEPT, humans, monsters, and beasts inhabit an unforgiving world. In a town plagued by mysterious incidents, people with a special ability known as Enja—whose origins lie with devils—are drawn together by a seemingly unseen force, only to kill one another. Amid these deadly encounters lives Sora, an Enja boy who lost his parents several years ago and has lived alone ever since. Sora’s days are divided between ordinary comforts and relentless destruction. He enjoys a peaceful school life with his friends, yet strange dreams haunt him daily, and night brings battles against the devils appearing throughout town. His “contract” pulls him into a hell of sorrow, conflict, and carnage, taking him far beyond the fragile calm of his everyday routine. Along the way, Sora meets girls whose contracts with him entwine love, obedience, subordination, immorality, and desire. A broken person who does not know how to love, he must face what these bonds bring him—and what they take away. As his path unfolds through bloodshed and tangled relationships, one final encounter awaits at the end of the contract: the last devil.
