Description

This native port brings the classic mahjong title—originally built in Ren’Py for personal use—to a wider audience, and it should especially appeal to fans of retro PC-98 eroge. The story follows Rumi, who is kidnapped one day while walking home from school, and the player must hunt down the clues that will bring the family back together. You take on the role of the male protagonist or one of Rumi’s older sisters, Yumika and Miyabi, facing off against a cast of female mahjong players who each hold information about Rumi’s whereabouts. As the search closes in, Yumika’s suspicion begins to grow. This release has been extensively modernized to feel like a contemporary mahjong game and to be far more approachable for newcomers who are still learning the rules. Where the original relied on a keyboard, you can now play with a mouse or through touch controls on mobile, making every match easy to pick up on your preferred device. The game is available in Japanese, English, and French, opening the story and its mahjong duels to a broader international audience.
