Description

Jane’s Corruption follows a woman balancing four demanding roles: mother, stepmother, wife, and teacher. Conservative in her outlook but worn down by the pressures of everyday life, Jane stands at the heart of a story about gradual change. As outside influences begin to shape her experiences, she slowly discovers a wilder side of life beyond her familiar boundaries. Her transformation unfolds over time, with the contrast between her established values and newfound discoveries driving the narrative. Jane’s overlapping responsibilities give that journey its context: she is not simply exploring something unfamiliar, but doing so against the backdrop of the many roles that already define her life. Although Jane remains the central character, the story extends beyond her perspective. Other characters also come into focus, broadening the narrative beyond one woman’s experiences and giving the surrounding cast a place in the unfolding story.
