Description

In Amber Embraces, a desperate search for food leads Amber into fresh danger after she escapes a goblin hunter. Coming across a bandit camp, she spots something glittering and steals a magical amulet that the bandits unearthed in nearby ruins. But when she tries to take food as well, she is caught in the act and forced to flee with the bandits on her trail. The pursuit ends when the bandits catch Amber and begin tormenting her. Her cries for help draw several lumberjacks from a nearby village, who rush to her aid and drive her attackers away. Overwhelmed by her injuries, Amber loses consciousness, and her rescuers carry her to the home of the village head, who also serves as the local doctor. When Amber wakes after receiving treatment, she meets the man who has taken her in. He encourages her to remain in the village until she has fully recovered. Surprised by the kindness and hospitality she has found after so much danger, Amber accepts his offer and decides to stay for a while.
