HOLLOWWALD is a standalone RPG built with RPG Maker MZ, offering a completely new experience independent of the previous games in the series. With an estimated completion time of around 25 hours, it combines a main story and side events with convenient features designed to keep your playthrough comfortable. You can check your current objective at any point during the main story or side events, making it easy to pick up where you left off. Saving is available whenever you are exploring, apart from certain sequences, and defeat in battle carries no penalty. After reaching the ending, you can start New Game Plus and carry over almost all of your data. No H-scenes require multiple playthroughs to unlock, so replaying is an option rather than a requirement for accessing those scenes. Flexible message controls also let you skip text, enable automatic playback, hide the message window, or review earlier dialogue in the backlog.
