Description

In Firebreak, you step into the role of William Bennett (a name you can customize), the figure first introduced at the close of Chasing Sunsets—either on a Mexican beach in Chapter 9 if Christian died in your playthrough, or in Chapter 10 otherwise. You may recall that Bennett made Polygene an offer they couldn’t refuse, setting them to work on technology for an ambitious government aerospace project. Firebreak picks up a few years later, with its story rooted firmly in the culmination of the possibilities hinted at in that ending. While the game offers plenty of nods to its predecessor, Firebreak is built to stand on its own. If the developers have done their job, you won’t need to have played Chasing Sunsets to become fully immersed in this new story.
