Description

A sleepy night shift at a convenience store takes an unexpected turn in NinNinDays 2. While a young employee struggles to stay alert, a girl comes in asking for a meat bun, accompanied by someone who seems to be her boyfriend. Once their shopping is done, the pair leave arm in arm, prompting him to wonder how nice it would be to have a girlfriend of his own. His daydream is interrupted by two young women dressed in what looks like ninja cosplay. Rather than buying anything, they linger over the merchandise and chat about ninja techniques. Their unusual behavior makes him suspicious, and when he speaks up to discourage any potential shoplifting, he discovers that neither of them has any money. Despite his doubts about their intentions, their desperate pleas win him over, and he buys a bento for the pair. What begins as a small act of kindness during an otherwise ordinary shift becomes the encounter that turns his life upside down.
