Description

The Divine Avatar: Chapter 1 introduces Novyn, a curvy elf with short pink hair and a divine mission she is spectacularly ill-equipped to fulfill. Created as the personal avatar of the Goddess Lyanna, she was meant to walk among mortals, answer their prayers, encourage virtuous lives, and lend a hand to ordinary people. In a fantasy world ruled by petty, vengeful gods and shaped by corrupt ideologies, a hero might be just what everyone needs—even if asking for one would invite punishment. Novyn, however, is not quite the champion her goddess intended. Something about her is broken, and her enthusiasm for intimate encounters keeps pulling her away from her sacred responsibilities. This opening chapter catches up with her after her first day on the job, beginning a journey of self-discovery in which her unconventional desires take center stage. Alongside its adult themes, this first outing puts considerable emphasis on world-building, introducing both Novyn and the troubled society around her. Social commentary and irreverent attempts at humor round out a fantasy adventure about the gap between a goddess’s virtuous intentions and her decidedly wayward creation.
