Description

Crisis Point: Extinction is an adult-themed Metroidvania platformer starring Alicia, a headstrong military soldier exploring a mysterious alien planet. Her mission takes her across its surface and into the depths below, where dangerous creatures stand between her and the search for a cure that could save humanity. Set in the not-too-distant future, the story begins after mankind unlocks the secrets of long-distance space travel. Humanity’s rush to explore the stars leads to infection with a virus that alters the Y chromosome in developing infants, causing every child to be born female. Finding a cure becomes Alicia’s crucial objective as she ventures through the unfamiliar world. As Alicia, you must outwit, outshoot, and outlast the creatures lurking throughout the planet while locating survivors and investigating its varied environments. Deep caves, ancient ruins, and alien jungles form the backdrop to an adventure that combines platforming, combat, and Metroidvania exploration with adult themes and a mission to secure humanity’s future.
