Description

Private Eyes is an adult murder-mystery visual novel about a young woman searching for direction as she returns to the city where she grew up to bury her father. Already struggling with a sense of emptiness, she finds that the circumstances surrounding his death do not add up. Her curiosity draws her into an investigation of his murder—and toward the Rosewood family, the city’s most notorious criminal dynasty. Your decisions shape both her search for answers and her involvement in the city’s corrupt underworld. Pursuing the truth and slipping deeper into corruption are not always separate paths: playing along may reveal valuable information, while digging further into the case can pull her into darker situations. Along the way, she encounters people tied to the Rosewoods, discovers their connections to her investigation, and meets others who remain untouched by the family’s influence. Will she piece together what happened to her father without losing herself, or embrace the darker side of the city? Featuring a female protagonist, 2D computer-generated artwork, animated elements, and a replay system, Private Eyes combines branching investigation with uncensored adult encounters. Its adult themes include mature women, voluptuous character designs, masturbation, voyeurism, stripping, handjobs, ahegao, vaginal sex, and lesbian encounters. The project remains a work in progress, with four story branches currently complete: Home, IVY Club, Spector Residence, and Crestview Hotel. Developed by first-time creator Guessing Games in their spare time, Private Eyes is available in English for Windows and Mac, with Windows/Linux downloads also listed. The listed release date is August 9, 2026, and the current version is 0.3.1. Installation requires extracting the files and running the game. Development updates and opportunities to support the creator are available through Patreon, with Itch.io also listed as a developer platform. An unofficial French translation is available separately and is not released by the developer.
