Description

Blazing Sunset is a handcrafted adult sandbox visual novel that blends everyday island life with a lingering murder mystery. Returning to Blaze Island to finish your final year of high school, you move in with your father’s best friend and her daughter. It should be a chance to reconnect with the place you once called home—but fifteen years after a terrifying string of killings, the island still bears the scars. The infamous Sunset Slasher once terrorized Blaze Island, leaving male victims brutally murdered and their bodies grotesquely displayed. Unable to stop the killer, the police could do little as nearly all the island’s men fled, including you and your father. The murders eventually ceased, but the exodus left behind a population overwhelmingly made up of women. Now that you’re back, your presence draws attention wherever you go. Manage your daily life, explore the island, make new friends, and navigate the attention of its many beautiful women while working toward finishing school. Between settling into your new household and enjoying life back home, there’s plenty to discover. Just don’t get too comfortable: the discovery of a new body threatens to cast a familiar shadow over your return.
