Description

In Cape Vavilos, you are an aspiring preceptor entrusted with guiding the growth and development of Charges placed in your care by wealthy clients. Every assignment brings a different ambition: prepare an orphan girl for service as a capable maid in upper-class households, train an aspiring gladiator to become a champion, or help a clumsy assistant develop into a scientist worthy of the archives. You may even be tasked with transforming a shy novice into a world-renowned concubine. Whatever your clients expect, your ability to deliver will shape your prospects in the city. Success depends on careful management of your Charge’s daily life. Plan every hour of their day and night, balancing physical, mental, and social needs to keep them performing at their best. Finding the right balance between discipline and indulgence is essential: you must be strict but fair, negotiate cooperation, and keep each Charge invested in their own development. Meeting your clients’ demands requires more than a demanding schedule—it takes an approach that encourages steady growth. Vavilos rewards skilled preceptors generously, but ambition comes with risks. Beneath the city’s decadent surface lies a web of schemes, and appearances rarely tell the whole story. Keep your wits sharp—or your head down—as you work to satisfy your patrons and secure your standing in a place where there is always more going on than meets the eye.
