Description

Mystic Knight Maya is a 2D action platformer with light metroidvania elements, set on a mysterious island. Your journey begins on its beaches, leaving you free to explore at your own pace as you search for a way to escape and uncover the island’s secrets. Non-linear exploration gives you room to choose your own route, while an inventory system, special skills, and dialogue add depth to the platforming adventure. The island’s mysteries offer a reason to keep pushing farther, even as its inhabitants stand in your way. Many of the characters you encounter mean you harm, but not everyone is openly hostile. Neutral NPCs also inhabit the island, and their presence may help or hinder your journey. Finding your way out means navigating both the island itself and the encounters waiting along the way.
