Kennel K-9 is a dark, adult-oriented management game starring a female veterinarian who inherits her parents’ pet clinic after they die in a car accident. Caring for animals is only one part of a story that extends into the surrounding town, a kennel, a farm, and increasingly sinister locations. The game combines 3D-rendered imagery, a female protagonist, and management mechanics with horror, monsters, graphic violence, and themes of corruption, domination, humiliation, petplay, incest, bestiality, and sexual assault. Progression involves conversations, exploration, purchases, training, and character-specific storylines.
