Description

Breeding City presents a bleak vision of the 22nd century, where severe population aging, plummeting birth rates, and depleted global economic reserves have reshaped civilization. Totalitarian and authoritarian governments now rule every country, leaving little room for individual freedom in a world defined by demographic and economic decline. For young people who have chosen to disengage from society’s demands, having children is no longer a personal decision. They must comply or face violent mental and physical re-education designed to crush resistance. Against this oppressive backdrop, Breeding City explores a dystopian premise in which reproductive pressure has become outright state coercion, and even the choice to remain uninvolved is no longer tolerated.
