Description

In Strain Y, Jade heads to a campus mixer hoping only to get through the evening. Instead, she wakes after a drunken encounter to find that something has changed her. A mysterious infection appears to affect only women, altering their bodies in unmistakable ways. When she reconnects with Riley, the protagonist, Jade still has no idea how it spreads—and Riley discovers the danger firsthand. Set against the backdrop of campus life, Strain Y follows an emerging, sexually transmitted virus as Jade’s experience becomes Riley’s problem and creates further opportunities for infection. The game combines a story of unexpected bodily changes with gender-bending and transformation themes, adult encounters, and full sound-effects design.
