In Mousetrap: Theft & Bondage, Ratalie is left paying for a crime she didn’t commit. Framed for robbing the local thieves guild’s hideout, she must work off the resulting debt by stealing as much as she can. Clearing her name means finding the real culprit, but first she has to contend with the obligations forced upon her. Ratalie’s search takes her up the ranks of the Maus Troupe, a band of mouse thieves. Every step forward is tied to her two goals: repaying the guild and uncovering who was truly responsible for the robbery. It’s a predicament built around theft and an unjust debt, with Ratalie forced to become a more successful thief to get to the truth.
